Laura K. Spencer 

Dr. Laura Spencer is a leading educator in the area of innovative leadership, teaching, and learning. She has served as a classroom teacher, an edtech director, and most recently as a district administrator who led transformational classroom change through design thinking and industry connections so that all students have learning experiences that value their unique strengths and passions.

Laura has been recognized as an Innovative Educator, Administrator of the Year, and San Diego County’s Top Tech Exec, as well as recently winning a CUE Gold Disk and the Classroom of the Future Innovate Award. She’s been featured on The YouSchool and Innovative Pedagogy podcasts. She’s also the President of SDCUE and a founding board member of EquityEDU. She is a proud US Army veteran.

Extension Credit through
University Of San Diego

A ½ unit of graduate level extension credit is being offered for $37.50, through the University of San Diego. Requirements for credit are full-day conference attendance, completion of evaluation/reflection surveys for each session attended, and a final overall summit evaluation/reflection at the end of the day. *While these credits are often viable for salary advancement or professional learning requirements, attendees should seek approval of appropriate school district or organizational officials before enrolling in this course. The window for enrolling in this course will remain open for a week following the conference.

If someone other than the attendee is responsible for payment the purchaser/buyer will be asked to complete a registration form for each attendee. The purchaser/buyer will need the following information from each attendee: First/Last Name, Email, Dietary Considerations (none/vegetarian/gluten-free).

District Purchase Order (PO) or Travel Authorization (TA):
The person filling out this form will receive an email receipt with responses selected. This receipt acts as registration confirmation for each attendee and can be used for requesting PO's or TA's. Please email your PO or TA numbers to [email protected] within ten business days of your registration. Registration and cancelation deadlines outlined above apply. 
Main Presenters:
The person who submitted a session application is considered the Main Presenter. A confirmation email will be sent to applicants around Nov. 8, informing them of selection. Registration is free for the one Main Presenter of a session only. Main Presenters should not be included in group pricing rates.
